Brand is a noun.

Not a verb. Bomba can’t ‘brand’ a business. Like your personality, you already have a brand. It is the embodiment of how you choose to show the world what your business is and why it matters. Bomba helps people articulate their brand to align it more closely with who they are, what they want to say and who they want to do business with.

Design works.

Bomba understands Design is not the self-indulgent exhibitionist its buddy Art is, but they do like to catch up for coffee. Both work in the field of conveying the intangible; but design has a job to do and requires stimulus, context, purpose, process and problem-solving skills.

Know right.

Think of your favourite pair of shoes. They took time to find. They fit perfectly. They make you feel really, really good and everybody asks where you got them. Bomba believes design done right feels the same. It is befitting and bespoke and suits only your brand, not everyone else’s.

Think smart.

We believe people want to be engaged, surprised, entertained, challenged and delighted by brands. Bomba promises to search for the smart solutions, not the easy ones. To make better things in order to make things better.

It’s true.

Bomba is truthful because people don’t like to be lied to, spoon-fed, treated like children, pestered, bamboozled or tricked. We will not knowingly mislead people and prefer to work with those who feel the same way.

In this together.

Bomba works in an open, collaborative environment. We like to get to know our people, and the culture of their businesses, well. We believe good things happen when individuals come together to produce something they cannot do alone.

Agreed value.

A brand is not a commodity. It cannot be bought from a showroom floor. It is tricky to put a price on. Bomba places value upon our thinking and design and provides services for an agreed-upon fee. We do not participate in free-pitching, speculative tendering, undercutting or predatory pricing.

Bring bacon.

Through our work in increasing the effectiveness of brands, Bomba brings commercial value to businesses. We recognise that people invest in our ability to develop valuable design, advertising and marketing tools in order to generate profits.

Who cares.

Bomba resolves to work in a manner that will not infringe upon others’ rights or do harm to the community to which we belong and the environment in which we work.

Look out.

There is a big wide world full of design out there and Bomba delights in the part it plays in the shaping of our visual culture and aesthetic environment. Participating in industry associations, attending events and constantly looking out our back door helps us to put things in context, ask questions, become more aware, inspired, experienced, motivated, playful and wiser.

Earn our keep.

The business of Bomba is to earn reward for good work done, in order to secure the lives we wish to live.
